Beautiful Brynn

She is such a cutie, and such a good baby! Brynn has bright blue eyes, and auburn hair. It's fun for me that she has quite a bit of hair because it gives me hope that soon I will be able to do things with it. She's 4 months old, and she is starting to roll back and forth on her sides, and she can grab toys and hold onto them. She laughs and smiles and coos when we look at her. She is great at pulling out her binky, and putting it back in her mouth. In the morning when she wakes up instead of crying right away she starts squeaking, and making cute noises while playing with her feet. We are so happy to have her in our family.

Crazy Girls!

We went swimming at Claire's house. Reese likes swimming, but is kind of afraid of the water also. She spent half of her time sitting on the top step of the pool, and the other half was spent following Marjann around. She is so funny, once she decides that she likes someone she wants nothing more than to be with them.

Zoo Fun

We went to the zoo last week with Corey, Rick, A.J., and Riley. We haven't been to the zoo in more than three years, so it was great to go back!

Here we are at Springville Days children's carnival. The girls had so much fun, and it was so nice to have Andy there with us on a weekday! The carnival was mostly blow up slides and jump houses. Reese for some reason doesn't like blow up slides, so she wanted to spend the whole day on two rides, The turning strawberry, and the train that drove around on the grass. Abbi loved all of the rides. She reminds me of me as a kid, I wanted to go on everything, I didn't want to miss out on a ride because that might be the best one.

Hot Air Balloon

Last week we were interrupted during breakfast when a huge hot air balloon landed in our backyard...ish. Since we have no immediate neighbors we consider the whole block our backyard. We had to run over and get a picture. Reese would be in the picture also, but she was terrified of the fire in the balloon so she stayed safely in my arms. Abbi however was ready to get in and go for a ride. We settled for a picture with her sitting on the edge.

Miss Independent

Look at my big girl! This is a month late on my blog, but I couldn't leave this one out. Abbi learned to ride a bike without training wheels, YEAH!!! She rides like a champ now. Abbi is funny because when she decides that she can do something she does it and she does it well. So far, knock on wood, she hasn't had any falls on her bike, no scratches, really no trouble at all. This same week she taught herself how to tie her own shoelaces. I was showing her how I like to tie my shoes and she says, " No mommy, I think I'll do it my way", and she does.

Dance Party

Abbi and Reese were rockin out to Hannah Montana of coarse. Reese was, well....being Reese, but I got Abbi in an action shot. Abbi loves listening to music and Reese just loves doing EVERYTHING that Abbi does. She literally wants to do anything that Abbi does. Abbi is such a sweetheart, and she is usually a good sport about it, but as you can imagine having a shadow can get frustrating, especially for a five year old.

Reese

Me and my Mellows!

Both Reese and Abbi love
 their treats, a trait they
picked up from their mom
no doubt. This is the expression
that I get from Reese in 8
out of 10 times I take a
 picture.

CATCHING UP

So I did it, I started a blog. it will take me a while before I really get the hang of everything, but it is fun to start something new. I thought I would start out by recapping our life in the last year.
Andy and I went to Hawaii last March with friends and it was an absolute Blast (Buttacup)!! We started building a house, and we of coarse are in that house now, Abbi started preschool (there is my favorite picture of Abbi on that day), Reese turned 2 in November, and we were actually able to go on a vacation for Christmas. That was all in 2007, and more recently Abbi turned 5 in January, we moved into our house February 21st, and one week later, on leap day of coarse, Brynn was born. Life slowed down for a few weeks at our house due to doctors threatening us not to take our baby out too much due to the high risk of RSV during the "cold" months in Utah. So life is starting to pick up again, and the weather is getting warmer so we will be spending much more time outside.

New addition to the family!

Brynn is AMAZING!!! She is 7 weeks old today and she has been sleeping through the night for two weeks now. (I hope I didn't just jinx myself). I was not this lucky with either of the other girls, so I am fully appreciative of her sleeping skills. She goes to sleep between 9:30 and 10:30, and she sleeps until 6:30 A.M. WHAT, you may be asking yourself... so am I, I love it!!!!
We blessed Brynn on April 13th. It was so nice because Andy's sister Laura and her family came to stay with us for a week, and Nana and Papa, as my girls call them, stayed with us for a few days as well.
