Just because

Brynny is such a good helper. Who needs a sponge when you have 2 perfectly good hands.

Any excuse these two jokers have to get a swimsuit on, and they are there. I love it!

I had to capture this hair. Reese inherited my hair, the funny faces are all hers though.

Big 1st Grader

Abbi has Mrs. Hall for 1st grade this year. She has been so excited about starting ALL day school since before kindergarten, and the time has finally arrived. I so did not expect the wave of emotions that gripped me for most of the day. I was on the brink of tears all day long! But she's the first one gone, ALL DAY LONG...I can only imagine how I'll be with the last.

It's not always easy to get a picture of Abbs, so here are the precious few that I did get. She was not into smiling because she has a bandaid under her nose from a nasty                                                                                                                   scrap, and it hurt to smile.

When asked about her favorite things of the day she told me the lunch room is awesome, she got 3 recesses, and she made a new friend. Then she added, her words not mine, "It was my lucky underwear. I wore it today and I was brave and made a new friend." I had no idea that she had lucky underwear.( Goes to show how well I know my own kid.)

Camping in Cali!!

We went to Ventura for a week for the annual Barron reunion, and we had so much fun!! I have a hard time widdling down the favorites, so here are about 20 of my favorite pictures from our trip.(I don't know how to do the cute collage thing that I have seen people do) We were extra excited because Andy had work, and wasn't able to come, but last minute plans changed and he was able to go, yeah for us! As a quick recap here are some highlights, and sad times from the week.

Low points...
-Brynn falling off the rock jetti and punturing the back of her head on a rock!
-Reese waking up with a 103 temp, and being down and out for a day and a half.
-All of my girls getting a nice throaty cough, and keeping them for a whole week!
But all in all, super fun trip, and I LOVE the Barrons!!!
This was our tree in our camp. Very fun for the kids.
Papa is kid of a magnet for kids...can you tell?
It's great that Kael enjoyed his food enough he had to get every drop. I wish my girls ate that well!
It was funny how many chairs we had around the campsite. This is only about half.
All of the kiddos got cute sunglasses.
Funny that we are at the beach and bundled up. You gotta love central California, and that marine layer. We really had lots of warm days at the beach, but the kids didn't care either way.
                                                     Cute Aiden and Brynny playing.
The kids had one day when they wanted to bury everyone.
Reese and Emma. These two played together a bunch during the week.

                                                   Lexi, Audri, Abbi, and Alyssa
This was Brynn's bad day. I love the bandage around her head. I had to get a picture of her with it on because it only lasted for about 10 minutes, it just kept sliding off.
Kiley, Tristan, and Brynn making bags for an easter egg hunt. Eatser egg hunt? Why not, we had tons of fun activities for the kids.
Reese, Abbi, and Emma ready for the hunt to begin.
All 17 kids that were there.
Melissa was so nice and took family pictures for everyone. We took a few with our camera also, until we get the nice professional ones.
I LOVE this picture of Brynn! She is one funny girl.
Me trying to play photographer. Melissa usually doesn't get family shots because she is the photographer, so I took some of her family. Andy thought it was funny that even after the family shots I still took all of the individuals of her kids even though she was available. So he took some pictures of me taking pictures of them.
Nana and Papa, and all the grandkids.
